This Zeiss A Plan 100x/1.25 oil immersion objective w/ RMS threads is compatible with all Axio series microscopes.  The A Plan series are quality Plan Achromat objectives for applications from routine to research.  Suitable for fluorescence microscopy in the viisble wavelengths.  Objective is in excellent condition - optics are flawless as is spring tip.  One minor cosmetic blemish on the printing of the white stripe which has no effect on performance.  Objective was tested on AxioSkop stand with excellent results as would be expected.  

Important Note - Use on current Zeiss microscopes with M27 objectives requires this adapter.  The RMS-M27 adapter is parfocal and parcentric with no other optical drawbacks.  Models which require this adapter are AxioObserver, AxioImager, AxioScope A1, AxioLab A1, AxioVert A1, some models of AxioVert 200.  

This objective is no longer produced by Zeiss and due to its popularity and the large amount of Axio series microscopes with RMS objectives on the market it is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
