Alyssa is the Account Manager for Northern California. Her mission is to understand customer needs and deliver microscopy solutions to support research. Alyssa’s passion for science was inspired by her microbiologist father, who gave her a microscope before she learned her multiplication tables. This sparked her fascination as she became aware of the expansive world beyond what we can see with the naked eye.

With her knack for science, Alyssa went on to attend UCSC and obtained her B.S. in Biomolecular Engineering and Bioinformatics. She became a researcher for her college and later a researcher for companies such as Quest Diagnostics and City of Hope. It was during her time as a cancer researcher at City of Hope that she discovered her respect for ZEISS quality. Her love for microscopy and appreciation for ZEISS eventually brought her to where she is today. She is always happy to lend a hand to customers, doing what she loves.
