Zeiss Plan Apo 40x/1.00 oil iris phase contrast objective for 160mm tube length microscopes.  Plan Apo objectives deliver the highest numerical aperture, color correction and flatness for the most demanding applications.  Phase contrast requires matching Ph3 ring in condenser.  Contains iris to adjust NA from 1.0 - 0.6.  This allows you to increase your depth of focus or bring the objective into an NA that is compatible with darkfield.  Standard RMS thread mount.    

Excellent condition with flawless optics.  Spring tip has good movement.  Bench tested on Universal stand - image is sharp and crisp.
